The story is about the bohemian artists group Lamorna at the start of the 20th century, including a love triangle that plays out on the Cornish coast. ...。退休后无所事事的父亲酷爱唱歌却五音不全；待业在家的儿子热爱打鼓却遇不上伯乐。俩人互相厌烦着对方制造的噪音，经常擦枪走火。但看似恶言相向的两人，其实一直默默支持着彼此的热爱。。一晃3年过去，当初穿着同一条牛仔裤分享心事的好姐妹，现在已经各自考上不同的大学。虽然依然保持联系，经常分享或快乐或伤心的经历，但分离千里、长大成人的她们毕竟有了各自不同的生活、朋友和兴趣。不过，大学的第一个学年就要结束，又是一个夏天即将来临，四个好姐妹又将重聚在一起。而这一年的夏天，又会发生怎样感人的趣事？。
