It was a fateful coincidence that in 2014, just when the Allard Pierson Museum in Amsterdam was staging an exhibition of Crimean artworks, Russia annexed the region. So now the question arises of who should the artworks be returned to? To the museums in Crimea who had been so kind as to loan them out? Or to Ukraine, perhaps, the country Crimea belonged to before the annexation?...。玛利亚（黛博拉·弗朗索瓦 Déborah François 饰）是一位多情奔放，不愿受到爱情束缚的女性。她带着自己的小说来到台湾，心怀期待地展开新的生活。在台湾，她遇到了同样来自法国的奥利弗（保罗·艾米 Paul Hamy 饰），一个性格温和害羞却拥有令人难以置信的语言能力的青年。 这两个个性截然不同的人开始了在高雄这个城市展开的法式爱情故事。他们的关系逐渐稳定，彼此之间产生了深厚的感情。然而，就当他们开始享受彼此的陪伴时，一则突然而来的坏消息打乱了他们的生活。面对生命的脆弱和爱情的困境，玛利亚陷入了艰难的抉择。。
