一个“笨贼”偷了一支价值昂贵的花瓶，为了躲避警察的追捕，他暂时将花瓶藏在了一栋正在售卖的房屋花园中。不久之后，一家人买下了这间房子，糊涂的房屋中介将花瓶当做赠品赠予了这家人。一对夫妇带着三个女儿住进了这所房子里，准备展开新生活，家里最小的女儿偶然间在花园发现了一只有思想喜欢打嗝的小猪，并偷偷将其带回家，笨贼也并没有忘记自己的“宝藏”，为了拿回花瓶，一场斗智斗勇的“游戏”展开了。。The film is based loosely around events in December 1995 that culminated in the murders of three drug dealers in Rettendon, Essex, UK.
