The gate to the Kingdom is opening once more…。该剧围绕一名乡村女教师展开，讲述了她远离繁华都市，心甘情愿地为山村教学无私奉献的故事。 李良伟，他早年是一名知青，钟爱教育事业，把毕生的精力都投入其中。后来李良伟被城市老板展旗聘为柳崖子村小学的校长，他一直为孩子们的教育事业而废寝忘食、兢兢业业。山村的生活虽然很清贫，但他一直无悔。也正因为他是有文化的知青出身，即使是清贫也骨子里透出高贵。李良伟对自己的妻子巧云心存内疚，因为她曾是村里最美的女人，跟自己结婚后却没有享福。他对柳晓月则是心存感激，心底很希望她留在山村协助自己继续教学，但又不愿意影响她进城当老师的美好的前途。。
