拥有倒退时间能力的恶魔以时间可以回到过去来诱惑心存悔意的人类。然而在本质上，它们以吞噬人类的时间为食，被吞噬时间的人自身的时间会不断流失倒退，从成人到胚胎，最后消失。为对抗“计”，人类成立了神秘组织“克罗诺斯”，并发明可控制时间快慢的“时之契”，通过对时间的加速减速减速进行战斗。。The film opens with a narrated disclaimer over footage of an opening coffin.
