Blood flows and the body count rises as cast and crew meet the manor’s resident werewolf…”。金融危机令中年男子佑作（三浦友和饰）丢掉了工作，妻子为此选择了离开，霎时间失去了生命中一切重要之物的他想到了自杀。就在他终于鼓起勇气打算将自杀的想法付诸行动之时，一通来自老家的意外来电打断了他的计划。 打电话的是佑作学生时代的好友，两人已经很多年没有联络了。好友告诉佑作，学生时代一直喜欢着佑作的女孩雪子（须藤温子饰）如今身患不治之症，时日无多了，好友希望佑作能够在雪子临死之前去探望她，了却她的心愿。就这样，佑作乘上了返回老家的火车，仔细算一算，他离开家乡已经28年之久了，此时的佑作并不知道，这趟返乡之旅将会改变他的命运。。
