In this bitingly satirical film Peter Slovan, a continuous source of trouble for the film functionaries of the socialist Slovakia, tackles an evergreen topic – the corruptive effects of power. Barnabáš Kos, a triangle player at a symphonic orchestra, is suddenly promoted to serve as the head of the said institution, even though both he and his superiors deem him completely unfit for the task. Encouraged in equal parts by this unexpected recognition and the servile praise of his colleagues, Kos’s modesty starts to gradually vanish. The erstwhile bashful and aloof percussionist quickly becomes aware of the advantages of his new office, and begins to realise his increasingly ludicrous artistic ambitions. Ultimately, the submissive marionette turns into a source of public humiliation, and his astonishing career finds an abrupt end. Orchestra serves here as a microcosm that grotesquely reflects the absurd and tragicomic mechanisms of the paranoid apparatus of power. Eva Näripe。才挡下“特洛伊”，陈家沟面临的是一触即发的内战。杨露禅和陈玉娘大喜之日，失踪多年的陈家长子栽秧，突然带着媳妇允儿现身，并以莫测高深的武功震慑众人。未久，高挂在陈家祠堂里的铜钟“大法陀”突然在深夜落地自转、巨响不歇。村民骚动，他们说“铜钟夜响”是灭族前兆，长老则认为收外姓入门，触犯了祖先立下的禁忌“铜钟谶”。任凭玉娘如何辩护，改变不了家族成员驱逐杨露禅的决心。深谋远虑的掌门人陈长兴亲手拆穿了儿子栽秧的诡计：他用花样百出的科学手法伪装成武功高手，和允儿连手制造骚乱、混淆视听，目的在挑拨离间家族内部和谐，与方子敬里应外合，陈家沟不攻自破。灾难与变局接踵而来。实时悔悟的陈栽秧临阵倒戈，让杨露禅和陈玉娘得以趁隙逃离。两人京城请愿后又面临新的巨大阻碍……太极拳的精髓，消解了让杨露禅头上的肉角，并为他赢来陈玉娘的爱情。但遭到朝廷通缉的方子敬已经逃亡，另一场风云变幻，似乎在隐隐酝酿……。民国时期，各路军阀并起，当然这些军阀中也不乏笑果连连、丑态百出的大老粗。比如这位张大帅，颟顸乖张，尤其喜好女色。他外出途中看见一群女学生打篮球，慨叹学校的小气，发给每人一个篮球，还把学生们的裙子全部剪短。又或者汽车抛锚，善于逢迎的刁副官竟找来一辆灵车应付，反逗得大帅喜笑颜开。 大帅生性风流好色，虽有五个太太，见到美女即想占为已有。虽然妻妾争风吃醋，但也阻挡不了大帅专横、好色的本性，命令刁副官想尽办法达到目的。有对热恋中的情侣，险遭被拆散，而逃出大帅府。五姨太与刁副官的偷情，大帅府也偶尔出现个疯女人，搞得大帅府乌烟瘴气，大帅毙了副官，也死在疯女人的手里。风流自被风流误，天下人谈天下事，天下人看天下笑……。
