热爱跳舞的农村少女彩凤自幼丧母，一直与习武的父亲相依为命，后来在应聘女工的过程中突围而出，毅然从乡下来到繁华热闹的城市——上海。彩凤一直没有放弃理想，不久，她找到一份在街舞学校清洁的工作，并一边工作一边偷师学跳舞。 偶然机会，她得到老板阿朗的欣赏，正式加入街舞队，并与阿朗开始谈恋爱。在跳舞大赛前夕，她却因与阿朗产生误会，一度失踪。后经父亲劝勉决定继续参加比赛，并作出精彩的表现，令观众赞赏。最后，彩凤亦在追寻舞蹈的路途上找到真爱。。The story begins in today Istanbul, when a woman called Işık (Bade İşçil) arrives at an old house.
